Media Literacy 360° is a two-day event that gathered digital journalists, educators, entrepreneurs, civil society activists, and representatives of international organizations. The aim is to acknowledge and connect existing media literacy initiatives, share best practices, and empower citizens to play an increasingly important role in combating disinformation and fake news, in the information space.
The unconference will provide the audience an opportunity to briefly present, in connection to the workshops’ topics.
In addition to the different formats of discussion, interested organization will be able to present their programs in specially designed booths, increasing the level of interactivity and creative synergies.
Our forum will be
- Multi-disciplinary because the information space is complex and only diverse perspectives and approaches, from a variety of professional angles, can identify effective solutions
- Global because relevant patterns are manifesting worldwide. Societies with low media literacy are more susceptible to foreign disinformation and propaganda.
- Interactive because the best solutions need collaboration and engagement
