SDG Innovation Fund: Call for project proposals

The project ’’Support to the Moldovan Government in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda’’, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), launched a call for project proposals under its SDG Innovation Fund. The Fund was created with the goal to support the implementation of at least six innovative small-scale projects to foster the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Republic of Moldova.

You can now contribute to the country’s development by applying with a project proposal in one of the following three areas: public finance, social affairs or environment.

The project proposals must contribute to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and include a partnership of at least two organisations from different stakeholder groups (e.g. public authorities, civil society, private sector, academia), where any one of these is the lead project applicant. Proposals should have a duration of maximum 12 months (starting not earlier than July 01st, 2021 and ending not later than June 30th, 2022), with a total budget of minimum 50,000 Euro and maximum 70,000 Euro. The budget application form shall include an own financial contribution of at least 5% of the overall budget.

Applications must be submitted in English only and received by 17:00 on March 15th, 2021 the latest.
