Compensating the interest on new loans amounting to 24 million lei, from the public coffers, for businesses, would be an unrealist measure - much over the crediting capacity of the bank industry.
The budgetary impact would be around 1 billion lei, some experts say.
For comparison, the Government has earmarked just 90 million lei to subsidize the interests for the period 1 May - 31 December 2020.
